Set right on the beach, Weligama Bay Marriott Resort & Spa offers beach front rooms, a year-round children's pool, relaxation pool and outdoor lap pool. This hotel made our trip. If I could afford it I'd just stay there for the whole 10 days we spent on the coast. It's perfect for beginner surfers as it's right on the Weligama beach. We had a free room upgrade from Ocean View to Ocean Vista and we were so grateful to be pampered. I wish we had tried the Big Fish restaurant, it looked fantastic but we had reservations with friends outside the hotel. The service was exceptional and I'd recommend 100% to anyone looking for a stay in Weligamma.

Absolutely amazing hotel – 10/10! We stayed for a week and were beyond impressed. The hotel is stunning, the staff is incredibly kind and truly attentive, and the food is outstanding. We ended up eating on-site several times because it was just that good. The entire property has everything you need for a perfect stay. I saw some negative reviews before coming, but honestly, we didn’t experience anything like that – everything exceeded our expectations. A special highlight: my girlfriend had her birthday during our stay, and the staff made it unforgettable. They surprised her with a homemade cake at breakfast (brought out with music by the kitchen team!), and later, the room was beautifully decorated with balloons, towel art, and more. It was truly touching. Can’t recommend this place enough – we would definitely come back!

From the moment you walk into the hotel, it feels like home. The view of the room was breathtaking, you get to wake up everyday to a beautiful view. The bathroom was spacious and so good. Chandana, the best chef in this world. He made us feel at home and made us the most delicilous breakfast and dinner everyday. The whole staff were super super friendly and welcoming. The pool is really nice and relaxing. 10 mins away from Secret beach which is a walking distance. We will definitely return again. We recommend it 100%. Special place to our hearts❤️

Terletak di Matara, 6-minit berjalan kaki dari Pantai Midigama, Cozy Resort mempunyai penginapan dengan teres, tempat parking peribadi percuma dan restoran. - very caring and helpful host (drove me to ahangama rail station for free) - room is very spacious and modern - big common open space with kitchen/minibar with very fair prices - a bit tucked away in the jungle, but still close to beach - perfect mosquito net - has scooters and bicycle for rent Recommendations: the beaches in Midigama are good for swimming and nicer than in Ahangama, I thought. Go have breakfast at Mr Sunils Roti and Juice Shop and/or Mermaid's kitchen in Ahangama.

This place blew me away! The villas are absolutely gorgeous!!!!!! the views are to die for and the whole atmosphere just feels like paradise. Everything was spotless, the staff were beyond attentive, and honestly, I didn’t want to leave. Worth every cent..! I’d rate it 10/10 and will definitely come back again.

Set against Weligama Bay, W15 Weligama Weligama is a resort in the south of Sri Lanka that stands as one of the best 4-star hotels around Galle. We had the most wonderful stay at W15 in Weligama! From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely fantastic. The hotel has a stunning beachfront location with breathtaking views, and the atmosphere is both vibrant and relaxing. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our experience was perfect – always warm, attentive, and welcoming. Our room was stylish, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, and every detail was thoughtfully taken care of. The food and cocktails were exceptional, with plenty of variety and fresh, delicious flavors. Whether lounging by the pool, enjoying the beach, or simply soaking up the lively yet laid-back vibe, we truly had the best time. W15 exceeded all expectations – it’s a place we’ll remember fondly and can’t wait to return to!
