Located 4 km from Negombo Beach Park in Negombo, Waterland has 5 air-conditioned villas, each with an infinity-edge plunge pool. Guests benefit from flat-screen TVs with satellite channels is... Our party of five had a very enjoyable and memorable stay at Waterland! The staff met us upon our arrival and checked us in quickly and efficiently. They continued to provide excellent service throughout our two day stay. The 90 minute boat tour of the nearby Dutch Canal is highly recommended. We saw a lot of bird life and a monitor lizard or two. And our two story villa with private pool and view of the river was quite luxurious. We only wish we were able to spend a few more days at this wonderful hotel!

Our stay at Negombo Boutique Villa was a lovely start to our Sri Lankan holiday. After a delayed exit from the airport due to a visa computer glitch, we were relieved to arrive at the villa in the late afternoon—and were warmly welcomed by our gracious and attentive hosts, who ensured we were well looked after from the moment we arrived. We stayed in the family room, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, and very comfortable. The entire property is well maintained, with a peaceful ambiance that helped us unwind after our journey. The pool was a real bonus, especially in the humid weather, offering a refreshing way to cool off. Breakfast was a highlight—a freshly cooked, generous Sri Lankan spread with juice, tea, and coffee available for refills. We enjoyed eating outdoors, though a few flies did make their presence known—perhaps a fan could help keep them away in future. We appreciated the convenience of booking a taxi to our next destination through reception—it was within the price range we expected, though budget-conscious travellers could save a little by walking into town to arrange transport themselves. Negombo Beach is just a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. It’s a great base to explore Negombo before heading off to other parts of the country. All in all, we would definitely recommend Negombo Boutique Villa and would happily stay again. It offered a calm and comfortable start to our trip, made even better by the warm hospitality of the hosts.

Offering an outdoor pool, Sentido Heritance Negombo is located 2.1 km from St Anthony's Church and a 40-minute drive away from Colombo. The stay and the beach view rooms were worth it. Good clean rooms.

Well-kept garden and always clean house. Mobile Internet coverage is good here, so you can work remotely. The food here is very tasty and inexpensive. So I've always eaten here. The staff is very friendly and doesn’t ask unnecessary questions (as happens in Sri Lanka). I spent 10 days here and I felt very comfortable. There are fans in the rooms that can be turned on at low speeds, so you can’t hear them at all.
