Timeless elegance and breathtaking views of Mount Phousi—La Résidence Phou Vao is Luang Prabang’s most serene and storied royal retreat. Gorgeous property overlooking the valley and town. Staff/ service is wonderful. Also enjoyed the pool and delicious food. We had a lovely suite with a huge balcony and separate bedroom & living room in which they set up 2 extra beds for our kids. It was definitely spacious enough for the 4 of us.

The staff were so helpful and kind, especially Da, who went above and beyond for us. The shuttle was very charming and easy to take to the night market and old town.
