Located near a colonial settlement, Angkor Village Hotel - Small Luxury Hotels of the World offers accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of Siem Reap. Wonderful hotel with true luxury. Every aspect of the hotel’s service from check-in, to turn down service and everything in between, is done to perfection and with that little extra touch of thoughtfulness. The hotel is beautiful and spotless, food is excellent and swiftly provided. The highlight is the staff, who are show great training but also inject their personality and warmth to the service. They are proactive and attentive, but not at all invasive. Whenever you need them it is as if they magically appear. If you are coming for the temples we highly recommend the private tours offered by the hotel. They provided us with Em, an excellent guide, who knew everything about the temples and also gave us great insights to the modern history and contemporary society of Cambodia. The hotel provided the driver, who kept us refreshed with water and cold towels (much appreciated, after climbing up the steep steps of Angkor Wat!). We had a 3-day tour and Em planned and paced it beautifully, so that we visited 20 (!) temples in three days but without being exhausted or (totally) overwhelmed by the experience. Visiting the more remote temples in Koh Ker is absolutely recommended as they are stunning, serene places. Also more visitors by locals giving you a little flavour of local life. In short, come for the temples - stay for the Angkor Village Hotel!

This was a wonderful, quiet hotel resort just outside of Siem Reap. Our bungalow was spacious and very comfortable. The common areas were inviting, and the pool refreshing, especially after spending the morning/afternoon exploring Angkor Wat. The staff was friendly, helpful, and considerate. We liked it so much that we extended our stay by 1 more night, just to enjoy everything. We highly recommend it!

I have come to Siem Reap many times and stayed at several hotels and I have to say that Grand Yard La Residence is one of the best in town. I was booked here for 2 weeks and decided to stay longer. As a solo traveler Mr. Chan and his staff made me feel welcome and safe. They go above and beyond to make your stay both comfortable and worry free. The room was was large, comfortable and clean. Afternoon tea was a real treat. And the free evening transmission to Pub street was a great added bonus. Thank you to the staff for an amazing stay.

Our stay at Angkor Grace was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality of the staff left us in awe. The resort is beautifully designed, with lush greenery everywhere. Property kept so clean and the room was cleaned daily. Great breakfast with good products and good coffee. Everything we ordered for lunch or dinner was delicious! Loved the kids bike, our son used it daily. Later checkout at no charge was greatly appreciated. We were so sad to leave. Loved our stay and hope to come back and stay again in the future. Best hotel we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend!! Thank you for everything.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and modern, featuring refined, elevated finishes. I especially enjoyed the large soaking tub in the bathroom! The hotel felt secluded, offered excellent privacy, and truly resembled a resort. The pool area was beautiful and the overall ambiance was so serene. The hotel exceeded my expectations in terms of service. The staff was incredibly attentive and proactive; for instance, as you approach the restaurant, someone will often rush to open the door for you. A chair is pulled out for you to sit in. Whenever I wanted to order a drink by the pool, there was always someone nearby asking if I wanted to order anything. Not only were they attentive, but the staff was also warm and friendly. The service level clearly reflects the hotel’s commitment to providing a great experience. The English proficiency of the staff was very high. The highlight of my stay was definitely the food—it was absolutely phenomenal! Cambodia is known for its amazing cuisine, and while I partially regret not eating more local food, the hotel restaurant was so exceptional and convenient that I found myself wanting to dine there for every meal. The restaurant staff was also a highlight, being especially friendly and fun to talk to. I also visited the spa and had an excellent massage. The spa vibe was very calm and relaxing. I would absolutely return to this wonderful hotel!
