There are few properties I've considered giving such a high rating as Q boutique to be honest and they deserve it! It's a fairly new property but they've really considered so many aspects of their experience. The staff are very thoughtful and helpful and warm. The rooms/villas are quaint and cozy while still meeting professional standards of hospitality. The breakfasts had a good variety of dishes and even a few things we asked for on request like lemon tea. The dinner was a hearty serving of very fluffy mashed potatoes, steamed veggies and the tastiest fish! I really like their swimming pool, it was always clean and especially by afternoon the water's a great temperature. We ended up staying an extra night than what was planned at Q boutique because we had such a good experience. I'd definitely go back here and it would be my luxury place of choice for Malindi.

The Kasa - Malindi is a unique luxury destination located on the north coast of Kenya in the town of Malindi and on the shores of the Indian Ocean. The property is located on the beach. Rooms are very spacious and each lot of 5 rooms shares a fantastic swimming pool, a dinning room areas and a sitting area. Its absolutely beautiful ! Personnel is very helpful and extremely nice. The food was excellent to say the least. Juices of natural fruits from the region, great coffee, cereals, eggs, etc. The restaurant is open all day which is very convenient. Room service is served in the dinning table right outside the room. The table is perfectly set and the personal is ready for whatever you need. The Spa is very nice and the person in charge gives fabulous massages. All in all this hotel is a great place to stay when in Malindi for either pleasure or business.

I loved the meals, the chef was exceptional. The villa is also very beautiful, there's art at every space which is very cool. The staff were lovely and very kind.

We had the best time at Diamonds! We stayed in the deluxe suite with private pool, and it was so beautiful. Even though we enjoyed having the private pool, the facilities were so nice that you could definitely have an amazing stay without it. There were three large pools, in addition to the chargeable spa pool. Two of those three large pools had shallow areas that were safe for little children. Our 2 year old couldn't get enough of the swimming pools and didn't use a flotation device at all. The beach access is also right there, with nice sunbeds on a private beach far enough away from the beach boys. They even lent our 2 year old some toys to play in the sand with. The property is large, but everything is still easily accessible without a long walk. That was important to me at 8 months pregnant!
