We also used the spa to get a couples massage and my partner used the water therapies. The front desk staff were fantastic before and during our stay - they really helped us to arrange parking, the shuttle to and from the hotel to our parking spot and other requests we had like booking restaurants for us. A true concierge experience! You will thoroughly enjoy your stay. We will be back!

Every corner feels special, and it’s the kind of place where you just want to sit, take it all in, and enjoy the magical ambience. The location is perfect for exploring Matera, and the valet service made everything effortless. We left our car at their partner parking and were picked up directly, which made the whole arrival experience smooth and stress-free. Even though the hotel is relatively new, it feels like it has been welcoming guests for many years. That is a true credit to the management and the entire team, who were warm, professional, and made us feel so well looked after. The food was outstanding, the cocktails were delicious, and the whole atmosphere was romantic and unforgettable. Relais & Châteaux should be very proud to have Vetera Matera in their collection. We are already looking forward to coming back and cannot recommend it highly enough.

It is in Maratea, just 250 metres from its own private beach. - Stunning property, comfortable room. We loved the private patio overlooking the sea, framed by bougainvillea. - Great restaurants onsite. Breakfast overlooking the sea is a dream. Incredible croissants baked onsite, and we also loved the pizza. - Beautiful walk down to the sea through the pine trees. We wanted to bottle up the scent and take it home with us. Sea + pines is a dreams. If you don’t want to walk, they’ll arrange a golf cart. - Personal, warm staff, looking to help you at every turn. They remembered our names, helped us book excursions, and attended us throughout the day.

Regiacorte is one of the most elegant and refined restaurants in Matera. A stunning Lounge Terrace enjoys spectacular views of Piazza San Pietro Caveoso and the beautiful rock church of the Madonna dell'Idris. It was absolutely beautiful. Staff was great and the room was clean and comfortable
