From the moment we arrived at Cape Weligama, our honeymoon became truly unforgettable. The villa we stayed in was incredibly spacious, offering every comfort imaginable, including a luxurious bathroom with its own sauna. The highlight was the stunning infinity Moon Pool, where we could relax while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. The Beach Club with private beach access made our stay even more special, giving us the perfect balance of privacy and relaxation by the sea. The gastronomy was simply outstanding—every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was of the highest quality, comparable to a world-class five-fork restaurant. We are especially grateful to our host, Salman, who was always attentive and ensured every detail of our stay was perfect. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the entire service team, particularly Lahiru, whose warm and impeccable service made us feel at home. The hotel also organized a safari to Yala National Park, taking care of everything from the comfortable transport from the hotel to the park, to arranging our own private jeep and guide once inside. Our guide, Damitha, impressed us with his excellent explanations and deep knowledge of the park, making the experience even more enriching. To make the day even more special, we enjoyed a spectacular lunch at Wild Coast Tented Lodge, another property from the Resplendent group—an experience that exceeded all expectations. We had a magical honeymoon on the southern coast of Sri Lanka, and without a doubt, we will return next year to celebrate our anniversary at this paradise.

Imke and Shannon are the kindest hosts! We got a very warm welcome followed by many great local recommendations! We were even able to borrow some snorkelling gear. They've got connections to two TukTuk drivers who will be very happy to give you a lift for reasonable prices. Breakfast was included and with homemade bread the best breakfast we had on our trip! You've also got the option to have lunch and dinner at the accommodation. We did have dinner twice and it was absolutely delicious! Location is perfect - a 3-minute walk to Jungle Beach which was our favourite beach in Sri Lanka. Not far from Weligama and Mirissa and very quiet. Rooms were very clean and had everything we needed. They got cleaned every morning. We will definitely come back and would recommend everyone to stay here to enjoy the south coast to the fullest! Thank you Imke & Shannon for making our stay so special and wonderful 🥰

This property really has the wow factor! There are plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy the views across all different levels of the building. There is fantastic outdoor dining space and indoor lounge area. The pool is lovely and clean and a great space to cool off with plenty of space to chill around it. All the rooms are excellent with plenty of space and en-suite bathrooms. The staff are wonderful - they are always on hand to help and the chef option is easy and efficient and the food is delicious- especially the local sea food. Definitely worth it - we had some incredible meals 😊 Location is fantastic, a quick 3 wheeler into town and easy walk to beach over the road (although rough for swimming).

We loved our stay! This is a perfect place to relax. The hotel is built on a hill and can only be reached by a funicular railway or a long staircase. Due to its elevated location, you truly feel part of the jungle, with a stunning view to match. The highlight of our visit was definitely the monkeys – but a word of caution: if you're not a fan of monkeys, this might not be the place for you, as they can be quite intrusive. They even stole my sunscreen and almost broke into our room, as they are able to open the door (always lock the door!). The bar and staff were outstanding – very dedicated and friendly. We loved relaxing at the pool on top of the hotel.
