Nine Skies is the definition of boutique luxury. It is a small hotel with only 5 rooms and the service we received from all the staff was truly so personable this really felt like a home away from home. The design of the whole hotel is beautiful with a wonderful living room, with a cosy fire in the evenings, and our suite room was beautiful with a terrace. The pool has an amazing view over the tea plantation. All the meals we had were delicious. Our host was very friendly and helpful, organising day trips for us and setting up our own table with lots of candles for dinner by the pool one evening, and also set up our own private breakfast at a look out point which were both lovely experiences. This hotel is brilliant if you want a very quiet, secluded spot in the Hill Country with excellent service and food. It is an expensive hotel but it is worth the money.

Ella Breeze is a wonderful hotel which I highly recommend. Rooms and service are great. It’s very comfortable and clean there. We also got breakfasts there during our stay - everything was fine. I want to thank manager Ajey who assisted us with helpful information about surroundings and helped us to organise transfer to Unawatuna even cheaper than they ask in the nearby taxi kiosks. From the moment we arrived the staff were nothing but helpful, kind and considerate. We had the honeymoon suite which was perfect with our own pool. Two staff stood out to us the most, Damith and Vishwa are a credit to the business, taking time to listen to our adventures and surprised me with a birthday cake. The experience at Andriyala was truly wonderful. Room was very comfortable and pleasant and the garden was beautiful and made the place feel calm and peaceful, with a quiet atmosphere throughout. Also the breakfast was delicious and so filling that lunch wasn’t even needed. The property was very clean and well looked after.
