We stayed at Foxton Lodge with our dog for a week. The house is spacious, tastefully furnished, cosy and equipped with every comfort. The kitchen has a huge window with a magnificent view of the avenue. The living room is spacious and the large, comfortable sofas invite you to relax. We lit the fireplace every evening and it was wonderful. The bedrooms were comfortable and the beds very cosy and fragrant. The bathrooms were large and spotless. The garden surrounding the house is beautiful and there is also a cool wood and convenient parking in front of the house. All this in the beautiful English countryside, with attractions and inns nearby. An excellent location for exploring Kent. Special thanks to Nick, a friendly and helpful host, who gave us excellent advice and made us feel at home. Greetings to Anita and little Oliver ❤️. Let's not forget the kindness of Magda and the friendliness of the gardener Graham. I highly recommend Foxton Lodge to everyone. We left a piece of our hearts there and will be very happy to return!

An excellent property with brilliant hosts. Milk in the fridge, loaf of bread with real butter. Tea, Coffee, sugar & biscuits! The games room & gym are really well equipped and the shared terrace gets the evening sun. A genuinely lovely place, which is always welcome when working away.

Everything about this beautiful, peaceful place was perfect. The cottage was very clean and comfortable with all you need including a large private garden to enjoy. The small farm is very neat and pretty with many animals to complete the idyll. The area was rural but close to lovely Tenderten and lots of other great places to visit; Sissinghurst, Scotney Castle, Rye etc. Seren and Vee, daughter and mum, are lovely, kind women who made me feel very much at home, I enjoyed our chats very much and they should be very proud of their achievements in this special part of the UK.

The initial help of the host when I called him to change my flat to his second flat after a neighbour's dog kept barking every second and I could not get any sleep. Only the Sofa and glass dining table didn't appear to be clean.

This was the perfect base for a lovely weekend in Whitstable. Its location was perfect - close to everything but also nice and quiet. There was everything we needed for our stay and the outside space was a bonus. Perfect!!
