You need a vehicle (or can rent theirs). I had rented a scooter in town and enjoyed this particular corner of the island.

They knew it was our honeymoon and had several special touches ready for our arrival. The hotel has everything you need and the staff is incredibly attentive (special thanks to Elodie and Kohai). They also help you with any excursions you’d like to do. If we come back to Raiatea, we’ll definitely stay here again!
