We stayed in the largest unit that had a full kitchen and laundry plus a large living room. A comfortable stop for the 4 of us after the bustle of Wellington. Stayed after taking the ferry to Picton and then driving through wine country. Mark is a great host!

The breakfast tray was a pleasant surprise it was enough for both of us to see us through to dinner. John and ineke were the perfect hosts very friendly and informative of the area etc. Spacious clean room with outside patio area where you can see views across and the birds drinking the sugar water John puts out everyday. Snow the cat even came to hello and sat quite content on the patio with us.

Stay somewhere different in a lovely well equiped spacious apartment in the historical district of Nelson,, an easy walk to the vibrant town center via the Cathedral steps. Very clear access instructions were provided by the host. Recommended.

Saxton Lodge is centrally located between Richmond and Stoke, New Zealand, directly opposite Saxton Field. Large rooms with french doors too.
