We spend some time away from the city and we were looking for a specific type of relaxation. We found exactly what we wanted: private, nature, quiet, romantic, rainy sounds, clean and comfy. The little pool in the garden was a bonus! Super comfy beds. We loved everything here.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hostel is extremely clean, very comfortable and has all the facilities needed. Breakfasts were served in the garden and it was a nice opportunity to chat with other guests. I stayed 5 nights and felt thoroughly comfortable. Thanks to everyone at Hostal Maria.

Mosquito nets on all the doors/windows so none in the room! The staff were very attentive, the owner even gave us a lift to a wedding we were going to. Surely the best hotel in Tlayacapan.

The staff were excellent - everyone we encountered was super helpful and nice! There is secure, gated parking. The water pressure in the bathroom was very good and there were nice little decorative details there. I was pleasantly surprised to find a mini-fridge in the room - this is unusual for Mexico.
