There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The property is 2.6 km from Bogambara Stadium, and within less than 1 km of the city centre. WOW. We booked last minute for just one night, we were lucky to find the Terrace, a small, simple and incredibly peaceful place. The room was clean and spacious, overlooking the valley, good breakfast. Host Ashan is incredibly kind and helpful. Location is a 9 min tuktuk ride from the heart of Kandy (the hotel has one) which is absolutely worth it to enjoy the view and peaceful stay at Terrace Kandy. First of all the accomandation is so luxorious. The whole vibe of the rooms is so nice, starting from the shower (which has warm water!) to the XL bed with AC and a lovely tea/coffee station in the room. Waking up to the sunshine was the best. We enjoyed sitting outside and listening to the wildlife. The pool was so clean and the staff was so friendly. He always helped us with organising and made delicious breakfast and lunch!

So that is probably also the one more reason why we prolonged our one night stay in to two nights. The place is cosy, very clean and modern arranged. The guesthouse is located a little outside the busy town of Kandy, which turned out to be a big plus – peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by nature, making it a perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the entire atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We left with full hearts (and stomachs!), and we would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and heartwarming stay in Kandy!
