They stay was amazing! The staff, Dilrukshi and Dilmith welcomed us with fresh beverages and helped us get a room before check-in!!! Which was so nice before we are tired.

Suriya Guest is set in Nuwara Eliya, 1.2 km from Gregory Lake and 7 km from Hakgala Botanical Garden. Free private parking is available on site. Suriya Guest features free WiFi throughout the... We are really well at Suriya Guest :) we had the breakfast and dinner twice which was delicious. The host was super welcoming and kind. The rooms were spacious and had heating, which was important because we were there when it was only 17 degrees Celcius.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at S and D homestay in Nuwara Eliya and it exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the friendly and helpful owner and his amazing family, who ensured a warm welcome and served for us delicious lunch (the dining experience was truly a delight). One of the highlights of this homestay is its’ beautiful view from the terrace: you can sea the Lovers Leap waterfall and tea plantations (walking distance). The room is spacious and cosy, even with the patchwork rug on the floor. There’s also a nice common living room. Overall, our stay at S and D Homestay was exceptional. The combination of the hospitable family, delightful meals, beautiful view and the refreshing cool air made it a remarkable experience.

We had a warm welcome with tea/coffee offered upon arrival. During the stay the host was very approachable for any questions we had. It’s conveniently located and walking distance to the entrance of Adams Peak. Nice breakfast is served, and there are plenty of shops and restaurants in the neighbourhood. This is the best place we have been in Sri Lanka. In terms of value for money, service and amenities. Which we noticed is that they are attention to details in every aspect. We really felt like home . We had dinner at Appleton, where I was super surprised with their reasonable price. Which’s the half of price we spent for lunch in Nuwaraeliya city center. Few things you should know when you travel Nuwara eliya. If you travel by your own vehicle there is no better place than this. This located between Nanuoya railway station and Nuwarael iya town. From the Appleton Villa to Nuwareliya town is exactly 5.9 Km which is 15 min to city center. What make you feel like as far is when the driver doesn’t know the road or else some Tuk Tuk driver want to charge extra that is why. Always take advise from the staff then you will be saved. Nuwara eliya itself is not a place to stay more than 2 days specially raining time. Overall we are quite happy with star class services.

First of all, the room is clean, comfy and spacious. There is a common space to enjoy coffee and tea. The breakfast was above expectations, good quantity and the taste was fantastic. Then the hosts are amazing. Their recommendations are super valuable. Chami the host drove us around and spent a lot of time with us. To be honest it felt amazing to have such a welcoming host and we felt very lucky to have that experience. It was maybe one of our best days in Sri Lanka. If you're arriving they can offer a pick up for a small fee. We're already looking forward to our next visit! We will not only come back as guest but also as friends.
