We were staying at Lafayette Alojamentos for a few days, and really enjoyed our stay there! The place really felt like a home for us: there was really clean, breakfasts were amazing, and the staff was really warm and kind. Special thanks to Candida (the hostess), who helped us to plan our holiday to be one of a kind!

The property was really well supplied with a beautiful pool and great porch. The location is great, a 5 minute walk to the beach and near restaurants/bars and supermarkets. Balzhas, the owner, was amazing! He made us feel completely at home, sent us lots of recommendations, came over with treats for us, and made sure we had everything we needed for the stay. I could not compliment him more if I tried.

Fantastic apartment for a holiday! Clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location is perfect – just a few minutes’ walk to the beach and close to the city center. The bed is very comfortable; we slept like babies. The apartment has everything you need, and it’s clear that the hosts care about their guests’ comfort. We’ll definitely be back!

The location is perfect, one block from the main pedestrian street and all restaurants 🍝 The pool on the roof terrace has amazing views⛱️ over the town⛪️.

Views are that of a typical Santa Maria neighborhood.

I had the most wonderful experience staying at Sol & Lar No Stress on Ilha do Sal. From the moment i arrived, the hosts made me feel incredibly welcome and at home. They were warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any questions or recommendations we had during our stay. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering everything we needed for a relaxing holiday. What really stood out, however, were the extra touches that made the stay even more enjoyable. On the resort Vila Verde theres a restaurant that serves delicious local dishes, and the atmosphere is perfect for a laid-back meal after a day of exploring. If you’re in the mood to cook, the nearby supermarket is just a short walk away, offering a great selection of fresh produce and essentials. One of the best features was the free shuttle bus that takes you to several key spots on the island, including Santa Maria, Praia da Ponte Preta, and Espargos (the capital). It was such a convenient way to explore the island without worrying about transportation. Overall, I can’t recommend Sol & Lar No Stress enough. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, this place has it all—great hosts, convenient amenities, and fantastic shuttle service. Will definitely be back!
