We had a lovely time at Siquirres Mountain Lodge. Inge and her family were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The property and grounds are beautiful. It’s a few miles out of Siquirres but easy to get to by car, and only 10 mins away from the starting point for our white water rafting trip (with Exploradores - which we would also highly recommend! 😄). There is a nice local restaurant less than 5 mins walk down the road, where we ate on both nights. We also took Inge’s horses out for a guided ride which was a lovely experience with beautiful views over the hills to Turialba. All in all a wonderful couple of days - and we would recommend very highly. Thank you! 😄

Built in 2019, the property is within 4.3 km of Jaguar Rescue Center. The air-conditioned rooms provide a garden view and come with a wardrobe and free WiFi. Just wanted to say we needed a place that had good wifi since my spouse needed to teach an online class. The wifi was truly excellent and he was able to host his class of 13 students on zoom with 0 issues! The space was also just beautiful, big and really nice, it felt even nicer than the photos. And Stella was very nice and helpful! Also really appreciated the drying wrack provided in the room, truly necessary in Costa Rica but this was the only place we stayed to provide anything like that.

Already the arrival was very pleasant: We were welcomed by Gabriel who picked us up from the boat and walked us to our house. The house was great! Lovely decorations, super clean, good wifi, kitchen equipped with everything you need, quiet and with green all around and right at the boarder of the National Park. Gabriel and his colleague Rodrigo gave us a little walking tour around the village with recommendations for restaurants and info/history about the town with a visit to the Turtle Museum. They were such great guys that we decided to do a Canoe tour with them the next morning and also that we enjoyed very much. Tortuguero is amazing and peaceful with its infinite beach, the canals & the park with its amazing wildlife - definitely one of our highlights of our Costa Rica trip.
