We stayed at the Avion, but Argosy and Airstream looked as lovely. Positioned perfectly, just meters from one of Costa Rica’s most beautiful beaches. Several good restaurants are within walking distance, as well as a small grocery shop. Even more restaurants to choose from in nearby Samara, just 5-minute drive away. La Caravana is intimate, magical, and utterly unique. I would recommend it to a friend!

So cleaned and looked after. The host was amazing, very friendly, and helped us with recommendations of places to check around the area. The accommodation is not far from Playa Potrero (stunning beach and area). We were near all the restaurants but the hotel was hidden in nature. We loved absolutely everything about this place. Very nice cabins, lots of privacy, good silent airco, great swimming pool with view of eagles and monkeys, love that there are only a small number of people on the property. Best food we ate in the area. Beautiful beach close by.

Generally quiet, even next to the highway. We were greeted by the owner's two teenage sons. Clearly managers in training. The kitchen beside the pool was well equipped for our breakfast of cold cereal. There is a hot plate and BBQ which we did not try out. Both beds were pushed against the walls. We were able to move the double bed away from the wall and use the side chair so both sides of the bed could have a bedside table of sorts. Towels are thick, soft.and absorbant. Shower is slow to heat but then warm.
