The staff are really kind and accommodating (despite us not speaking Spanish). Location was great to get to Minca and Tayrona (7min walk to the public market to catch a bus to either location)

This 4-star hotel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. The hotel has an indoor pool and room service. Room 2 was spacious. The room was clean when we arrived. The use of the swimming pool after a hot day was refreshing. The staff were super friendly, helpful and accommodating. The breakfast meals were delicious. The property is walking distance from everything.

The road to get there is not paved: if coming by car, you need a 4x4 that is off-road ready. Otherwise, there are readily accessible moto-taxis from Minca.

Situated in El Zaino, 500 metres from Castilletes Beach, Zirwa Hotel Boutique - Dentro del Parque Tayrona features accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. Each accommodation at the 4-star hotel has mountain views and free WiFi. The property is non-smoking and is set 35 km from Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino. We arrived late afternoon which meant our room was ready straight away. The hotel were helpful in advance letting us of the park entrance ticket booth closing time which meant we arrived before closing time (5pm). The hotel is beautiful, the views are fantastic and the sky was clear both nights we were there which meant we could stargaze from our terrace. It was super quiet and peaceful. Right by one of the main entrances to the park, easy to find and very easy to start our hike into the park early in the morning. They have a pingpong table and board games in the dining room which were fun to play in the evenings too. We will be back!

The property is non-smoking and is situated 200 metres from Santa Marta Gold Museum. Everything in the hotel itself was perfect. Wonderful rooftop, great clean rooms and really excellent facilities. They do Spanish lessons too for all levels and the teacher Paula is amazing. The Spanish lessons really helped me to master basic Spanish in shops, restaurants and transportation. Highly recommended!
