Very comfy beds. And our host was SO friendly and patient (we don't speak Spanish so Google translate was our friend). We went into winter but can see how lovely it would be with the pool in summer. Lots of safe parking. A short taxi ride from Chillan centre. Definitely recommend.

By far the best facilities of all the hostels I've stayed at in South America, the photos don't do this place justice! It's a small thing, but when you have a powerful hot shower in a clean bathroom and a great music playing in the showers' speakers, you know you're in a good place. The owner was extremely accommodating and I was even able to work on my laptop next to the pool. This is also the first place I've been where I've been able to run on the trails straight from the hostel. No bus or taxi needed!

Featuring an outdoor pool and a fitness centre, Cabañas y Lodge Los Hualles is located in Nevados de Chillan, a 10-minute drive from Nevados del Chillan ski centre. Such a cosy lodge - it was just the two of us so very spacious, covered parking for our rental car. The team in the reception and cafe were SO friendly and helpful, we felt really at home and could have stayed a lot longer! We booked the hot tub which was great. Cooked a simple meal or two in the lodge and kitchen facilities were good. Absolutely loved it!
