My stay at Jayla Homestay in Maun, Botswana, was fantastic! Mmapula and her family are warm, welcoming hosts who made me feel at home. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-equipped, and Mmapula’s home-cooked meals were delicious. The peaceful location is perfect for relaxing, and Mmapula’s gave me great recommendations on what to do in Maun - from participating in local school events to Karaoke places and from helping me organise trip to Moremi National Park to Mokoro trips. Great Wi-Fi, parking, and value for money. Highly recommend Jayla Homestay for an authentic Botswana experience!

Scott and Casey were very caring hosts, the staff super friendly and efficient, exceptional meals. Tha chalets positioned overlooking the river. The morning walk with Thomas the guide was fascinating, excellent birder. Saw 3 Pells fishing owls. Met all expectations of what a lodge on the Okavango should be.

What a great spot, away from noisy Maun, but close enough to enjoy the perks of Maun. We had no difficulty finding the place, although you need to drive a few km over dirt road. The staff was very friendly and well organised, the food was delicious. The chef made a special vegetable diner for me, on request, which made me very happy. After diner (with great view) you can sit around the campfire to share your days experiences. The staff can organise all kinds of activities, we wish we had known that in advance. This lodge is absolutely worth a visit, don’t hessitate is you think about going here.

We loved our stay at Nako Okavango guesthouse! All the staff were welcoming and friendly, especially Mike and Regina! We had dinner here two nights and the food was excellent! Bed was comfortable and the water was hot, overall a great experience.
