The rooms were so comfortable, and the views out to the ostriches, buck and zebra every morning were unbeatable. We sat in the jacuzzi while it rained outside (it is covered) which was so special. The hosts were SO accommodating and kind, which we really appreciated. We have already booked our return trip.

Close to Aquila - unfortunately not really near anything else so not sure how you’d stumble on this place if you’re not day tripping there but it was quiet and enjoyable. There’s a nice pool area, good restaurants on site for dinner and breakfast, helpful staff, small shop for supplies. Room is comfy with AC etc.

We stayed at the Rheeboksvlakte cabin and its location is simply stunning. Whilst the cabin is fairly basic, it has absolutely everything that you need, including an exceptionally comfortable mattress! For two days we saw nothing other than plenty of wild animals and the stunning views down the valley.

    The amazing staff, Vino at the game drive, and the amount of animals in the property making it possible to see lots of wildlife in only one drive. The beautiful kids club and the lovely lady in charge: beautifully organized by age appropriate toys and areas, toys in labeled boxes and a nicely set up mat with toys and tracks that you could feel she really loved and took pride in the kids space! Pls convey this msg to her.

    The food was delicious. Plenty of choice but also not overwhelming that quality was compromised. Game drive was ideal for my family, with kids aged 2 and 4 years old. We had a secluded outdoor shower which was a marvellous surprise. Our room had ample room, it was clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and super helpful.

    Aquila was a great experience. We stayed in a family room which was really nice and spacious. The buffet food was very nice with a children's option also available. The pool area was lovely with a beautiful view of the mountains and we even saw the elephants passing by. The game drives were a highlight with morning and evening ones available. Our guide Randall was exceptional full of interesting facts and background information about the reserve and the animals in it.
