An absolute treat. One of the most wonderful hotels we’ve ever stayed in offering the best of South Africa. Just pure class. The rooms, the staff, the spa, the food. 5 star all the way. We’ve spent a lot of time in SA yet we were all absolutely wowed by this place. Didn’t want to leave. Also worth mentioning that this place doubles up as a high end hospitality training school giving opportunities to the local community and training them up to work in tourism.

Cats Whiskers is a historical building, very close (walking distance) to the heart of the old city, in a safe community. Alecia and her husband are very lovely hosts, living in the house next door and easy to contact all the time. The interior of Cats Whiskers is high quality, fitting to the style of the historical building, so it was a pleasure to enjoy our stay!! The two bedrooms do have very comfortable beds and both attached bathrooms. The living room is very spacious and the kitchen has all needed equipment like a dish washer... All was spotless clean!! WLAN worked perfectly and flah lights were available to cover load shedding. Also to menton the nice outside sitting area plus a spacious and save parking area behind the house. This accom. is more than highly recommendable!!

The staff were efficient and friendly. Sundays Karoo is just off the main street and within a 150 yards from an excellent restaurant which was ideal as I have limited mobility. The area is quiet residential and we weren’t disturbed by traffic noise. The breakfast is wonderful. The stoop in the garden is very pleasant…..but move before 5pm if the mosquitoes like you! The hosts are exceptional and couldn’t do more for you to make your stay enjoyable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you all

    Its was spacious, exceptionally clean, had coffee, tea, biscuits, milk, fruit juice (free) wine and beers with an honesty bar. Safe parking behind a gate. They had board games and wood for the fire. Great location and overall perfect for a family with teenagers.

    Their hospitality and peacefulness was awesome. We arrived late and they were communicating with us and waited up for us. We had a lovely breakfast whilst our kids were playing. They are child friendly…our kids loved it. They also geared up for loadshedding.
