We had a wonderful stay in the private house. The accommodation is absolutely astonishing and has all the facilities you need. On top of that the staff (especially the owner Jean) is amazing and will do the upmost to accommodate you. Would recommend everyone! 10+/10

The dorm is huge and very airy, double beds, even when there’s no electricity you get the wind, location right at the surf spot (roll out of bed and surf basically), it’s a pretty place. During the day all the surfers come and hang out.

The location is excellent and the staff and volunteers were always super friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean and was excellent value for money. The kitchen was very well equipped and also kept spotless. Dan was super generous and made us feel really at home. Hernán was amazingly helpful in sorting us out with motorbike and surfboard rentals. They even helped us out when we had a motorbike accident. We will definitely return!

The location at Playa Gigante is a well kept secret, it is close enough but away from more crowded locations to the south and to the north. The people at Gigante are working fishermen mostly with huge smiles, and willing to go out of their way to help. Smiles and greetings guaranteed as they pass you by. No exceptions. Wow. The hotel, is a small operation run by its owner and loyal staff, always on premises. Very secure, very clean, very attractive and representative of the area. I would not consider booking anywhere else when I decide to return, which I most certainly will.
