Everything. I went with my friend to stay at this hanok stay. Guma is responsive to messages and allowed us to leave our luggages before check-in time. He greeted us upon arrival and upgraded us to a better room. The room is clean as well as the sheets. Bath towels are large enough compared to others. Shower and toilet are separated. The location is also near bus stops, hip coffee shops, a cultural heritage area and museum. It was also convenient because he even dropped us off to the bus terminal. If ever I go back to Daegu, I will definitely stay here again.

The place was spacious, calm, and thoughtfully furnished — we especially appreciated that it was minibar-free. Lauren was incredibly kind and welcoming, always ready with helpful tips to get us oriented. Best host! The location made it easy to get around and explore.

The host is friendly and makes me feel welcomed. Even though there’s a hiccup as my car is not able to park at the designated parking lot as I was driving Kia Carnival, but I got prompt response from the host and able to park my car at a secure parking lot which is not far away with 15000 won per night. Besides, the room is fully furnished with everything. Have a good stay with my family.

The apartment is very close to the subway station, shopping center and restaurants. Despite being next to the street it was very quiet during day and night. The room was clean, comfortable and it had many useful things, like hair ironing, bandages, ear cleaners which all came in handy. We could also cook with the kitchenwares quite well. The staff was very nice and helpful, they gave extra garbage bags when we ran out of them. We accidentally left a few clothes in the apartment and they notified us immediately and stored them for us so we could go back for them. I would recommend this place for everyone who wants to stay in a modern flat close to Banwoldang and the subway.

I've booked a stay at Toyoko before (in Asakusa, Tokyo), and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here in Daegu as well. It's not very far from the subway station (2-3 min walk), and it's an ideal location, since it's located in the downtown areas of Daegu (Banwoldang), making it easy for you to travel to other places by subway as well. As for the facilities, hotel room was nicely decorated, and they make the bed every day (I had one day where they changed the sheets, this depends on how long you stay). The hotel also offers you breakfast (which is a bit early for me (7-9 AM)), but I did enjoy their breakfast on two occasions. Staff was very kind and do speak English very well! Highly recommend Toyoko as they are very reliable, affordable, and professional!

The location is perfect, and the hostel itself is excellent for such a low price. I met a friend and we toured around the city together. This hostel is also great because people were respectful and courteous about others in the rooms. When you check in, you get to choose which number of dorm bed you want. The beds are clean and comfortable with a blind you can lower to keep out light. There is a tiny shelf in each bedspace that can be folded in or out of the wall, and you get an outlet with a light in it. You also get a locker in the hallway to use. Great kitchen space for all to use as well. Upon checking in, you get a basket with towels, a bottle of water and earplugs. There is an elevator in case you don't want to take the stairs.
