I truly enjoyed the hospitality of Jaka and Timur, they were both very kind and welcoming. Living in a yurt on their property was a truly unique experience and an insight into their day to day life. I loved trying Jaka's home cooking as well as homemade jams, the apricot one was particularly delicious!

We stayed at “Golden Street” for two nights in Cholpon-Ata and were truly impressed. It’s a great location – the lake is very close and within walking distance. The room was spacious, clean, and cozy. The hosts were wonderful – we felt like long-awaited family members. There’s a garden in the yard, and they invited us to pick ripe cherries and peaches. They constantly cared about how we were feeling, shared recommendations on what to visit, and always helped – even calling taxis for us. When we were leaving, they came to say goodbye and saw us off. The warmth and sincerity we experienced here will stay in our hearts. We wholeheartedly recommend this place!

Location is very beautiful, but hotel and service is separate from apartments and this is not that convenient, because if you need something, you have to wait the next day.

I’ve stayed at many places based on positive reviews, but rarely has the reality exceeded expectations—until now. This property is truly a hidden gem and absolutely worth staying at. It’s the best location on Issyk-Kul, run by a dedicated family who pay close attention to every detail from the moment of arrival to departure. The apartment was spotless, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed. Every aspect of the unit is well-maintained and thoughtfully arranged. The property offers direct access to the beautiful beach of Issyk-Kul, as well as a children’s play area, making it ideal for both relaxation and family enjoyment. While there is some ongoing construction in the surrounding area, it didn’t pose a significant disturbance for us. One suggestion I’d make is to improve the road leading to the property. Paving it with interlocking bricks would make it more accessible, especially during or after rainfall, as the current condition can be a bit inconvenient for walking or driving. Overall, it was an exceptional stay, and I would gladly return.
