The room was big, very clean and modern, and the view was amazing. The bathrooms were clean and plenty for all the guests. The breakfast is delicious, the best we had in Iceland. the location is great, central, close to whale watching tours. we had dinner in the restaurant in front, which was great! staff in hotel was friendly and helpful.

The place was amazing, with a very nice view to the beautiful town and the harbour! The rooms were well equpped and warm, comfortable and clean. The staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel itself is very well maintained, it offers a lot of information and the design inside was very nice. Higly recommend! P. S. If you have enjoyed the movie "Eurovision", in the bar next to the hotel (which is named after the famous song from the movie - ja ja ding dong), there is a museum with an exibition of the props and on the other side of the entrance of the hotel, you can find the little elf houses fron the movie, very cute. I think the exibition will be there for 2 more years (this info needs to be double checked though). Opening hours are strange, so make sure you give a call to make sure when when a visit will be possible.

This is a truly fabulous place, completely dark and quiet, and we were incredibly privileged to see the northern lights for three September nights on the trot, getting brighter each night. The cabin is well-equipped, and we very much enjoyed our stay. We did not use the BBQ or outdoor heaters but they were there if we had wished to use them. We went whale watching, and GeoSea (hubby not sure if he fancied it, but we went when it opened and it was lovely and quiet. Very nice spa as it is sea water and so does not smell like sulphur... in case the smell bothers you. Hubby agreed afterwards that it was a highlight of our holiday).

The area the house is located, the warm welcome, the adorable dogs. I were the only guest on both nights, so I had the whole house for myself. In the kitchen everything is high quality (silverware, plates, cooking pots and pans...etc). Bed was comfortable too and the whole house was very warm and cozy. It was clean and very tidy. Felt like a home 🙂 I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing location, plus the owners and staff were extremely friendly. The room was very spacious, with a very big and comfortable bed, along with a big bathroom.

We spent here only one night, but we can say that everything was very enjoyable :) We were welcomed with a smile, a very polite lady provided an easy and quick check (that we appreciated because we were kinda tired). Our room was of the appropriate size (we particularly appreciated the sink in it!), it was clean and the towels provided were soft :) It was close to the bathroom, moreover. The atmosphere was nice and relaxed and we definitely recommend the guesthouse, which is located in the middle of the beautiful icelandic nature! Great value for money!

We really liked this place, very comfortable house for a group of 5 people. Nice kitchen and living room area, nice bedrooms and a good shower. Great location between Akureyri and Husavik. Parking outside was perfect.
