Is easy to get there and then is self service so easy check in and check out. Great experience. There is a kitchennette in the building where you can boil water and use the microwave if you need, great plus!

Situated in Gardur, Lighthouse-Inn offers accommodation with free WiFi and a garden with a sun terrace and sea views. All units feature air conditioning and a satellite flat-screen TV. Everything was perfect, 24h reception, close to the aiport (10 minutes)

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodation 5 km from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. We were traveling around Iceland and this horel was the best one. Hotel is located in wonderful nature by the lake, but only few minutes drive from Egillstadir. Staff is very kind and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh.

Fosshotel Mývatn is located next to Lake Mývatn, 6.8 km to the Mývatn Nature Baths. The hotels provides free WiFi and free private parking. It was the best hotel we stayed in this year in Iceland. The room is comfortable, and the view is breathtaking. Breakfast is good, with a lot of choices. We also had dinner in the hotel's restaurant, and we were happy with the food also.
