The location is AMAZING and the little house makes you feel you are in a fairy tail. Even if we didn't get much in contact with the owner, check in and out was simple and easy. Very clean facility and is highly recommended for anyone who wants to clear his or hers mind of city noise.

This cabin was pure magic. Tucked away in peaceful nature, it felt like stepping into a cozy Icelandic dream. Every detail — from the lighting to the decor to the thoughtful little touches — was clearly arranged with care. The space was spotless, warm, and welcoming, and we instantly felt at home. We only wish we had booked more nights — it was the perfect place to unwind after long days on the road. The views, the atmosphere, the comfort… everything exceeded our expectations. Stayed here 2 times and probably will go back! Very cozy place with very nice owners. They provide a kitchen with everything you'll need. As a big plus, we were able to spot a whale from the front porch. Amazing!

What are great stay, it has everything you need. Great view and we saw 5 cruise ships from the backyard towards the ocean during 2 nights stay. Hoste is easy to communicate and super nice, we couldn’t find cooking oil and laundry detergent, he delivered and left at the front door. Note: if you need additional washing room (W.C) . There is a public one only less 100 meters away, open for 24 hours, very clean.

Beautiful well equipped house in a stunning fjord location just out of Akureyri town. Cheerful lights of Akureyri town could be seen from one side of the property at night whilst the back bedroom balcony gave spectacular dark sky views of any Aurora. Glorious sauna just a step outside the back door. Very calm aura to the whole place. Jean Marc and his wife where fantastic hosts, there in a flash when needed and discretely out of sight when not. All in all a fabulous and highly recommended property.
