I have been to so many places in India, but this one was the best I have been so far! I didn't look very good when I did the booking, but when I arrived and noticed that I had the whole property to myself I was amazed. Such a lovely home (old house of the family), it looked like a fairytale. Everything was clean, loved the location and the breakfast that was made by Aji's wife and mother tasted delicious. It is in the middle of nowhere between the plantations, the whole day you hear so many birds. This was the perfect place for me to reset after one month India, I've done a lot of meditation and yoga (On my rock 😉) Now I'm totally recharged for the next two months. Apka koti koti dhanyavad 🙏

Our stay at Malakkarethu was truly amazing. Despite our late-night check-in due to personal reasons, the staff was incredibly accommodating and supportive. We had the pleasure of meeting Jojy J Varghese and his wife Deepthi, the gracious hosts, whose warm welcome and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. Mr. Jojy even took the time to help us capture some wonderful moments on their property. Our children thoroughly enjoyed the scenic river view and the presence of birds, adding to the overall enjoyment of our stay.

Vanilla County in the Vagamon Hills – what a beautiful place to spend your holidays with your family or friends. It is not only the sheer beauty of this place but especially the friendliness and warmhearted kindness of its owners Silu and Mathew and each and very one of their wonderful team. We felt so very well looked after, whenever we had questions concerning the surroundings and the Vagamon Hills, Silu would be there to give us valuable tips and suggestions for day trips and sightseeing. We loved the Kerala food you get at Vanilla County cooked by Ranju and Jolly which was served by Maju, Anand, George and Anthony - always with a friendly smile. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The house and the garden are very clean and very well looked after by Aniamma and Sheena. Everywhere in and around Vanilla County, you feel that things are done and chosen with a lot of love, taste and care. The wonderful memories of Vanilla County and its people will stay with us for a very long time and will make us smile.
