The house is on an amazingly beautiful property. There are huge old trees in the park, horses graze in the pasture. The rooms are in the annexes, very nicely renovated, everything is clean and comfortable. They welcomed me very kindly, I also received advice about the area. The breakfast is very delicious and plentiful. Fantastic place!

I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel, and I am SO glad I chose to stay in Cobh over Cork. This hotel was beautiful and historic, and my room was super spacious and so comfortable. The staff were lovely, especially the receptionist on duty when I checked in and out (2:30pm Wednesday and 11:30am Friday - thank you!). They even provide crackers, fruit, muffins, and coffee facilities in the room. It's the little things! The location was great, close to the rail station and overlooking a beautiful little park and the cruise ships. I'll definitely come back to the Commodore if/when I return to Cobh.

Very beautiful house with great size en-suite bedrooms. The view to the sea is amazing and it is close to the town`s seaside. Mary is an amazing host and the breakfast is plentiful and tasty and lot of choices. There is a table tennis and swing on a tree for the kids.

Not much - the room we were given was in the middle of building site renovations. The rooms on both sides, the one across from ours, and then the one above were all being worked on, and the noise was ridiculous up until 2015, even although when we checked in and questioned the noise, we were told it should be finished between 5 and 6. We therefore had no hesitation but to request a meeting with the management, and a partial refund on our room costs.

Very comfortable family hotel. The room was large and the facilities were perfect for us travelling with a small baby. The location is good with the Jameson distillery in walking distance, Cork City an easy drive and Ballymaloe/Ballycotton/Garryvoe/etc also very easy to get to by car. Food in the restaurant was excellent.
