A beautiful and energising place, run by wonderful people. Great rooms and breakfast, and an unbeatable view to Maghera Beach and beyond. But most of all a warm atmosphere and a feeling of home. I wish I could have stayed much longer. I will be back asap.

Set back in a beautiful, peaceful location close to the Blue Flag Fintra Beach. The cottage has everything you will need for an extremely comfortable stay, and if wifi is something you require, a perfect high-speed system is available to connect to, with access to Netflix and more. A sun room with the background sound of the stream outside, a fantastic lounge with comfy seats, and a stone floored kitchen with a rocking chair, and even a small dog bed for our Lucy, who loved her stay. We were very satisfied – the accommodation exceeded our expectations and we felt truly great here. The owner was extremely kind and friendly, and they also had excellent tips for interesting places in the area – many of which you won’t even find on Google Maps :). He also recommended a bio shop just across the street, where we discovered algae-based cosmetics, sea salt, and other specialties. Overall, this place has a unique atmosphere and an incredibly positive energy – we would definitely love to come back.

Most wonderful, hidden place in Ardara, County Donegal, Very quite. Beaches nearby. Pubs down the road. Large garden rooms,. Excellent full Irish breakfast. Oyters or steaks for dinner..John and his family are perfect hosts. Will be back next year for sure.

Marguerite is so friendly and welcoming, her home is beautiful and she makes the best breakfast!! The rooms were so clean and cozy and the beds was very comfy. It was really nice having a private bathroom off our room as well. Glenties is a nice town with lots of history, good pubs and pretty walking trails!
