Family hotels and homes in Ambelas

This is a family apartment hotel. The owners are so friendly and helpful! This is the place where I felt most at home during our travels in Greece the past years. The apartment we had was newly renovated and beautiful! The swimming pool and bar are very peaceful and nice. And the location is perfect! It's like paradise here!! Little note of advice: best to rent a car so you can roam the island. Some beaches are very windy and you might want to go beach hopping :).

It’s been nearly three weeks since our return and we are still dreaming about our stay at Vione Paros! A brand new boutique property situated a stone’s throw from the tranquil fishing village of Ambelas and in close proximity to the charming town of Naoussa, Vione is absolutely stunning. We arrived with hopeful but tempered expectations given that it is the property’s first season in operation, but left astounded at the outstanding hospitality we encountered. The General Manager Cleo runs a tight ship, executing operations with warmth, grace and efficiency, assisted by Front Office Manager Jerry. The property is fairly large and requires significant manpower, but has an impressive guest to staff ratio. The staff is youthful, energetic, proactive and extremely hardworking. Most importantly, they are sincere and take pride in delivering an exceptional guest experience, a rare feat for an established luxury property, let alone one that’s newly opened! The property itself is sprawling, consisting of tiered landscapes with an astonishing variety of cacti and wildflowers for such a dry climate. The central pool is organically shaped, a zen space flanked by the main restaurant, bar and lobby-lounge. Vione boasts the largest spa in Paros, as well as a gym, sauna and indoor pool. We were too busy enjoying the sun, sand and sea to make use of most facilities, but my husband enjoyed the spa. Jetlagged and in desperate need of rejuvenation, he emerged a new man under the expert therapeutic care of his masseuse Anna. The suites are generously sized and thoughtfully laid out with expansive terraces overlooking private pools. The Cycladic interiors, bright and welcoming, are evocative of minimalism and quiet luxury. Equipped with all the mod-cons, the lighting system took some getting used to, TV wouldn’t connect to Netflix and there was no HDMI cable, but these are minor niggles that will c certainly be ironed out in due course.

We stayed at Anatoli for four nights and it was truly magical! It is about 4 kilometers from Naoussa, so very quiet and away from the crowds. Georgia, our host, was so gracious to welcome us just before 12 pm the night of our arrival which was much later because of busy ports and ferries. She also put ice cold water and grapes in the fridge for us. She really is a very special lady who also checked in ons us every day without being intrusive. Anatoli is a big house with about 8 different units, but it still feels very private. We had amazing sunrises here, dinner on our own little stoep and the semi private beach about 200 metres from the house is ideal for a late afternoon swim. It is advised to rent a car or other vehicle to buy groceries etc. because Ambelas where Anatoli is situated only have a few restaurants. A very special place and highly recommended!

What an amazing experience.  Everything was on point. From the moment we arrived the staff made us feel very welcome. Little suprises from them as a welcome gift, touch of class. Room was clean and very chic. The A/C even was able to heat, so that was good. Because we had couple of cold and rainy days. Breakfast was delicious and with lots of different options. Maria was always so kind and made the mornings feel more lovely. Anything we needed, the hotel host helped us out, whether it was restaurant reservation or asking for wind info on the other side of the island.  Because of the off-season weather we were not able to enjoy the poolsidez but we did have a very warm jacuzzi on our balcony. We have just returned from a wonderful stay at this charming hotel in Paros. From the moment we arrived, the staff created a warm and genuine atmosphere that went far beyond simple courtesy — they made us feel truly welcome, as if we were part of a family. The hotel’s location is perfect, the interiors are beautifully designed, and everything is kept impeccably clean. As a true testament to their exceptional service, we accidentally left our room key in the safe when we checked out — and the hotel manager personally rushed to bring it to us all the way to the airport! This level of care goes far beyond any ratings or stars. This team has something truly special, and a big bravo to whoever brought them together. It was a truly special experience, and we are already looking forward to coming back
