It's well-located and close enough to everything while managing to feel quite remote. The family who run these lodges do a beautiful job and add a personal touch just by being present, friendly and unobtrusive. Booked a family room for two adults and a four year old. The room had two large beds so plenty of space. We travelled in winter so the main building of the hotel was closed, as was the restaurant and anything else they usually offer. The hotel was very upfront about this and ensured we were aware prior to confirming our stay. 10-15 minute walk into the main town centre (with a child so probably quicker than that normally).Guest review byStephenFamily with young children
