The lady that received us and took care of us is the nicest, most welcoming host we’ve ever met. The room was just marvellous. we didn’t really want to leave the premise at any point. It’s actually 10x better even in real life than on pictures. Breakfast was incredible too. 100% worth every penny and more.

A beautiful cottage set in the peaceful countryside of the southern Lake District — truly idyllic! Surrounded by stunning rural scenery, it’s perfect for walks right from the doorstep. Karen was an excellent and thoughtful host, making us feel completely at home. The whole experience felt like being in the movie “The Holiday” — tranquil, romantic, and unforgettable. Quite location. Great conversion of Byre to living accommodation , lovely beams, lots of space and light and a rear courtyard with tables and chairs and table at front. Lovely comfortable beds and bedding. Fantastic shower.
