Lovely cosy cottage in the heart of robin hood’s village. The property was extremely clean and the host was very friendly and responsive. This was perfect for a stay over the Christmas break. The flat is very cosy but has everything you could possibly need. A nice combination between traditional and modern furniture as well.

Very homely, the room had lots of extras like blanket and heater but also a ceiling fan. The double bed was cosy. I appreciated the kitchenette which had plenty of supplies, there was a range of drinks, even filter coffee & fresh milk in a little fridge, which I was also able to use for my own food. The bathroom was very clean and in fact everything was super clean and the bathroom had recently had a stand up shower fitted and various complimentary items. It was nice that I didn’t have to share the bathroom . I am definitely booking again for a longer trip.

The house was beautifully presented and very clean. Everything we needed was there, plates, cutlery etc as well as tea and coffee. My children enjoyed the toys and books and my wife was more than a little bit obsessed by the bath tub.

This house is stunning! It was an absolute privilege to be able to stay and was perfect for a small group of colleagues or friends/family. I particularly loved the huge kitchen and family room. We will hopefully be back in the summer.

We loved how spacious the property was. We liked that we could all be in one room but be doing different things. It kept us together as a family.

We were in the area for a wedding and the family suite was perfect for our group of 2 adults and 2 teenagers with interlocking rooms. A good menu and standard of food. Staff were very helpful . Shops and other pubs in walking distance.

Staff were friendly and helpful even before we arrived. The rooms were exactly what we needed (family suite) having two teenagers who need their own space. Food was delicious for evening meals and breakfast choices were always good.

The house was exceptionally family friendly, it felt so homely and the fact there were children's toys in the corner for my two young children to play with was so comforting to them. We would definitely love to book again next time we travel to see family.

Having a family room with the child's bed in a different room and they had a separate bathroom and TV. Food in the forest lodge was excellent (we had dinner and breakfast). Loved exploring Sherwood Forest and will be back when it's less rainy and the spring has sprung.
