Even more idyllic than could possibly be captured in images. Small cosy areas library area for reading, a drink, diner; wood fire always on. Most kind people. Perfect starting point for multiple nice hikes (for which they have great recommendations). Rooms are cosy yet bit small. British cuisine is marvelous

    Well equipped cottage, comfy beds and free on street parking outside. We were following family on the coast to coast walk. Good location for picking them up at Kirkby Stephen and Keld.
