We were delighted when we arrived at this very charming apartment in a pretty, peaceful little village. We had a lovely welcome from Evelyne who showed us where to park the car on the adjacent private parking space off the road which is precious as the village streets are very narrow. The apartment is very spacious and well furnished and very clean. We slept in the "pink" bedroom where the bed was comfortable. The whole place is traditionally decorated and has a very homely feel. The bathroom, however, is new and very modern with a fabulous walk-in shower. The outside seating area was a lovely spot in which to relax and we enjoyed our evening walk around the village. We only stayed for one night but it would be perfect for a longer stay to explore the area.

Fantastic apartment in a small & quiet village. Very clean and spacious. Evelyne is a lovely hostess and has made the apartment perfect. We only stopped for 1 night, but after staying we wished we had booked more nights. Would definitely visit again.

Nuit à la campagne is a recently renovated bed and breakfast in Assenoncourt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Clean, cozy, great communication with the host, easy to access. Dinner and breakfast were outstanding. If you like driving through nice scenery, this area is great. The host is very communicative (prepare some sentences in French using translate or any other app), and flexible.

We had a wonderful staying there. The room was very nice and comfortable. We enjoyed very much the sauna and the spa. Our hosts were very kind; they helped us with suggestions for visiting, even made reservations for us. The breakfast was good; it had many home made and local products. Funny enough I was in a rush and thought I booked a hotel room on the way :-) ... and arrived in a residential area. Very positively surprised. For the price of a typical hotel room I got a whole (large) appartment with everything needed. Fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, various sleeping rooms, living & dining room, large and furnitured balcony, parking in front. Pierrette is a very nice and sympathetic host. Personally handed over the keys upon arrival and brought me much more for breakfast than I could ever eat. Very clean, comfortable. and quiet. For me ... 10 out of 10.
