I highly recommend having dinner at a rooftop restaurant nearby — watching these massive statues as the sun sets is an unforgettable experience. And the morning? Just wow. Millions of hot air balloons rise into the sky, drifting gently across the horizon. It’s like watching a fairytale come to life. Pure magic, from sunrise to sunset. Linda new and very well maintained guesthouse house would be easily awarded 4 stars hotel in western Europe. She and her husband are friendly and happy to help planning your trips while in Luxor. 30 min easy walk to temple of Hatshepsut and 5 to Carter's house, spotlessly clean - rarity in Egypt, memorable view from balcony towards balloons launchpad in the morning, interesting friendly conversations are just few of big pluses. I rarely score 10/10, but Carter Guesthouse does deserve it.

we pretty much liked everything at Kemet House. From the interior to the breakfast - everything was great. The owners Osama and Lorice as well as their family were so friendly and always made sure to offer tea or coffee. 10/10 would recommend.
