The hutch is quite luxurious, well above the standard of comparable places we had in Costa Rica. The balcony at the back of the house has splendid views with lots of birds and butterflies flying and buzzing around. Hosts (including the two dogs) are really nice and friendly.

Rooms were nice, simply a place to stay, but what made the visit amazing was Lili She was incredible, gave us great tips, discounted tours, cooked breakfast and was such a nice and wonderful soul to be around. The house is a 10 minute walk from the city center of Santa Elena but the stay was really nice and I loved that there was a kitchen too

We absolutely loved the place. The Tiny house is modern and has everything you might want including a hot tub and a fire place. The views from the observation platform are incredible. The hosts were really friendly and have thought of every to the smallest detail. They even left us fresh eggs, milk and juice, coke and beer and a bottle of bubbly which was a welcome surprise. Highly recommend the Amalu resort.

This was by far the best location on our trip! A perfect, spacious house with a beautiful garden in a totally quiet neighbourhood all to ourselves - it could not get any better! It comes with a full kitchen, a modern bathroom and plenty of details that are useful. There are 6 houses each wirh a big private garden and plenty of nature around them. We spotted lots of birdsand smaller animals and even a wildcat. Our host Guillermo was fantastic! He is such a kind soul and helped us with everything, always a big smile on his face. Thank you, Guillermo, we miss you! Hope to come back one day.

Beautiful spacious lodge overlooking the coffee farm. Jennifer gave us a nice tour of the farm and offered a great breakfast as well as leaving some fresh ground coffee in our room. Loved the view from our beds of the hillside!

Great location just out of town in beautiful grounds. The host and his family were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The accommodation was basic but very clean and comfortable and a unique experience being in the trees

Belcruz is amazing! The front desk staff (a very kind gentleman) was incredibly friendly—he showed us the best spots to watch the sunset and even recommended a shortcut for birdwatching. The hotel’s dinner was absolutely phenomenal!!! I wish I could try every single dish—it’s even better than what I’ve had in LA! The room was cozy and inviting!
