Excellent location 6-7 mins walk from the market and the lake and 10 mins to the railway station. 2 mins f4om bus stop . The openness and the view were awsome . All modern amenities.. fully laden kitchen.. also the owner presented us with a bottle of vine.. which was awsome.

The owner made us feel welcome and at home. Beautiful old rural inn lovingly renovated and turned into a great BnB. The location is very rural, which is great if you are looking for a quiet and calm place to stay. Breakfast was really nice with cheese and meat varieties, yoghurt, eggs, artisan breads. A perfect room for a family with small kids. The panoramic view is amazing. There is a hiking path to the lake of Murten just underneath the hotel. 20 minutes drive to Papiliorama, if you want to be there early. The best is to be at Papiliorama as soon as it opens in the morning. The breakfast is delicious and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.
