This hotel was one of the best we've ever visited! Location is perfect, the room was superclean, pretty and charming. Borh, supper in restaurant (a la carte) and breakfast were delicious! The staff - kind, supportive! I already dream about going back here 😍

Beautiful location, charming building, friendly staff

The family-run Hotel Des Alpes is located next to the Muggeseeli nature reserve in the centre of Kandersteg. All rooms have been renovated in 2010 and Wi-Fi is available for free.

We were extremely satisfied with our stay. The hotel is situated in a stunning environment with plenty of opportunities for excursions. The owners are very kind and helpful people. The breakfast was excellent, with local products. We appreciate space with sofa and small table in our rooms. We had booked the accommodation for 3 days, but after realizing how fantastic the surroundings and the hotel were, we decided to stay for an additional 2 nights. Everything was clean and functional. Perfect value for the money. We hope to come back one day. :-)

As it looked in the photos, very smart and tidy. Great location, no traffic noise but a gentle noise from the stream running past - so not silence if you are looking for it, but very pleasant regardless.
