During our 5-day trip through Armenia, we spent one night in the small mountain village of Artabuynk and choosing to stay at the Legend Guest House was one of the best decisions we made! It’s a charming and authentic place run by an incredibly friendly host who truly goes above and beyond for his guests. His lovely mother also prepared a delicious traditional Armenian breakfast that kept us full for almost the entire day of exploring. The guest house is a beautifully renovated traditional Armenian home, featuring a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need to prepare your own meals. There’s also a cozy living room with a few board games, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Since the nights were already quite chilly, the host kindly provided us with a heater, which we really appreciated. Parking was easy and convenient, with plenty of space and clear signs along the road to help find the property. Thank you, Karen, for making us feel so welcome and at home. We’ll always remember our wonderful stay at your guest house! 🙏🙂

The hospitality of the guests is unmatched, we felt very welcome and had an incredible stay. The rooms are spatious and cozy, the bathroom is very comfortable and everything is clean. We want to come back, this is one of the best places we've stayed at.

This cozy guesthouse was one of our stops during our road trip through Armenia, right in the heart of one of the country’s famous wine regions. We chose it for its excellent location, comfortable facilities, and promise of a homemade breakfast — and it didn’t disappoint. As a wine lover, I was especially excited to explore this area and taste some delicious Armenian wines. We planned our stay here to celebrate my birthday, and everything turned out just right. The setting was lovely, the room was spacious and clean, and everything matched the description in the listing. The homemade breakfast was fresh and satisfying — the perfect way to start the day. Parking was also easy and available right outside the property, which was very convenient during our road trip. We’re grateful for the peaceful atmosphere and the warm welcome we received. I traveled alone but the size of the room was enough for two people. Brand new room, bathroom and extra large kitchen if you want to cook your self. But there is no need since the owner Arpine is a great cook. You have fresh produce for breakfast and you can ask for lunch or dinner to be cooked for you. You can pickup your own herbs and fruit from their extra large garden.

The owners, Len and Armina are an Australian-Armenian couple. They are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about Armenia in general and the local highlights in particular. Communication is super easy in perfect English, which is a rarity in Armenia. The hotel is a home from home, in a garden next to a river with magnificent views of the magnificent mountains. I stayed at the Areni Lodge for three nights and highly recommend it.
