The Mitsui Garden is one of my favourite hotels in Taipei: rooms are spacious and comfortable, it has an onsen on the rooftop, staff is lovely, it's located literally on a good metro station and the breakfast is everything I hope from a great Japanese hotel.
It was my second stay and I plan on returning there for my future trips to Taipei.

I like everything here! The room is pretty spacious for 2 person, they have bidet in the toilet!!! The breakfast served was always so good. Other than that, the staffs are super helpful, friendly and welcoming! The area is easy to access by metro like just around 4-5 mins of walking from the station.

Wow I stay at a lot of hotels and this was probably one of the best hotel experiences! Staff were very helpful and they were able to fix me up with a last minute spa appointment. They had a great attention to detail and making sure guests happy. Rooms were amazing - good size, comfy beds, quiet and stylishly decorated with yoga mats, massage balls etc... for guests. The hotel was close to Daan district for good restaurants, cafes and shopping and is very well connected to the Taipei metro for getting around. Don't forget the really good free Happy Hours each evening with drinks and some very good fusion bites as well as the coffee and pastries offered at breakfast for guests. A big thanks to all the staff for an unforgettable stay!

Stayed in a small single room for three nights. Knowing it is small and without windows, I was expecting much worse. But it was not that small, fully sufficient for 1,92 m. like me. Although there is no window, but there is a nice lounge and a nice lighting system in the room.

The room is much larger than we thought! Looking at the floorplan, I guessed we had the largest room. Our room is right next to the elevator, and just a few steps from the reception, very convenient. Staffs were very helpful!

This is a very good hotel in this category. The outside looks quite boring but the inside of the hotel is very nice and cosy. The family room we booked was very comfortable and big enough for the four of us.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
The breakfast was in my opinion above average for this type of hotel, with a very wide range of options, and everything was very fresh and well prepared.
The swimming pool is also great - it surely doesn't have the charm of a rooftop pool but is very convenient, quite big, and our kids had a lot of fun.
