My room at Samed Garden resort was comfortable, functional and beautuful, the furniture was handcrafted in hardwood! My balcony overlooked the garden, I could also see the ocean. 2 bottles of water and instant coffe was delivered every morning. Comfortable bed, I slept really well there! Everybody working there always said hello and greeted me in a lovely way. Nice, quiet beach 50 meters from the hotel entrance, as well as a minimart, a coffeshop and a couple of restaurants. Great place, with a lovely hostess!

We had the best double bungalow directly on the beach, all the staff was very friendly and helpful, zhe private beach was calm and to another crowded beach it was only 5 minutes walk

The staff was very friendly, hospitable, and helpful. The breakfasts were very good, varied, and delicious. The room was quiet, the beach was small but very nice, with great sun loungers and shade from tall palm trees. I explored the entire island, and for me, this was the best spot.

We had an amazing time at this resort. The beach is gorgeous and the staff were fantastic. It's a perfect location if you're looking for a really quiet, relaxing time. Bring a little cash as you have to pay 200 baht per person on arrival for staying in the National Park. Make sure you check out the Sunset Bar.

Incredible location, less than a 10 minute walk to the beach and the pier in the opposite direction. Right next to a really popular restaurant, Banana Bar, with plenty more just a stone’s throw away. Noise levels will always depend on the neighbours you get (we were lucky and it was super quiet), but you definitely won’t hear anything from the main road! Amenities all supplied, including a microwave and plenty of plates/cutlery. Good temperature and water pressure in the shower, air con was perfect. For an island stay this had absolutely everything we needed. Our host was so, so helpful. My dad cut his finger open and she showed up on her bike to take him to the clinic and then came back to get me. She asked on our first day when the best day and time for cleaning would be, and when we cancelled the cleaning she still brought toilet rolls and clean towels for us and left them outside. It was our first time on the island as we wanted to see if we liked it, and having this place as our base definitely helped us relax in a new environment and is part of the reason we’re looking forward to returning.
