This little hotel is in beautiful surroundings. The Japanese style room was very spacious with a river view. The food served was excellent as was the natural Jane’s baths.

This resort is amazing! The different pools are very hot and comfortable and the atmosphere is so relaxing... The view from the restaurant is amazing and the japanese breakfast very good (miso soup was incredible! Gnum!!!). And in the evening you can join the other guests for free ramen (gnum!)

Lovely place to stay. Usage of the indoor and outdoor onsens are booked for private use (and there was plenty of opportunity during our one night stay) so it was nice that my partner and I were able to enjoy it together.

The Rokan place is very clean. The host was very friendly and easy-going, showing our family around to all the facilities in the place. We been to many Ryokan but the place stand up due to the personal touch from the host. Highly recommended and will definitely come back when I visit Matsumoto again.
