The Japanese style room was spacious and well equipped. The check-in was super easy, and the staff were informative and friendly. The location is in the heart of Arima Onsen. Dressed in your yukata, winter jacket, and clogs (graciously supplied by the hotel), you are a few steps away from the well-known Kin no Yu Onsen and foot bath. The futons were super comfortable, too, giving you a restful nights sleep.

Founded in the 12th century and beloved by Junichiro Tanizaki and other Japanese novelists, Tosen Goshobo is the oldest of the hot-spring inns at Arima.

Our room was very beautiful and comfortable. The dinner and breakfast were served inside the guest room. The staff serving us was very friendly, and the food was top the notch. We tried both private onsen and public onsen. for us, the public onsen was better; it was outdoor with a nice view, and more spacious.

Amazing private onsens and best service from staff I’ve ever received. The shuttle service is great - if you want to walk around the town or grab dinner (their recommended restaurants are delicious), they’ll drive you to most places in the town and pick you up. Breakfast is fantastic.

All staffs are very kind and they provided high quality of services. Onsen was great and also Kaiseki dinner was awesome and delicious. Stay at Okuno Hosomichi was an unforgettable time for us. Though the carpark is a little bit far away from the hotel, the shuttle service is very convenient. My kid enjoyed the Toy museum very much. Also appreciated the helpful staff and room cleanliness. The famous onsen “Kin no yu” is right outside!

Such a special property. Excellent onsen which during our visits never had more than two other guests. The in room dining was outstanding - the quality of the food (at dinner and breakfast) and exceptional service by Emily made for a most memorable stay. Drinks at the piano bar were a perfect start to an evening. The beds were very comfortable and the room was so very quiet. We would happily return!
