The apartments were lovely — tidy, very clean, and well maintained. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and there were enough bathrooms for our group (two in the first apartment and one spacious bathroom in the second). The location is perfect, with everything within walking distance, yet the street itself is surprisingly quiet considering it’s right in the city centre. The host was excellent — always available, very polite, fair, and genuinely helpful. We felt well taken care of throughout our stay and would warmly recommend him.

We had a lovely relaxing holiday staying at Santuzza Maison de Charme. The property has been beautifully restored with a modern twist which works really well. Our room was an oasis of calm in contrast to the hustle and bustle outside. The hotel owner was on hand every day with great ideas on where to visit, some of which we wouldn’t have found in any guide book or online so really added to the enjoyment of our holiday. The location is a stone’s throw from the Cathedral and close to the central area of the city which was bursting with ancient buildings, bars and restaurants, and three great markets.
