I loved the characters I met there. Made me want to make a movie. The place is beautiful, old and rough but a photographers delight. I asked the lovely man to get me breakfast ( he offered). Trotted off and brought me the most delicious masala dosa with coconut relish and fab coffee. Places nearby for street food and a pretty ok restaurant round the corner

It was neat and clean, no problem with sheets, bed, washrooms, internet. It has all basic amenities, if you are coming for work and want to stay for 2 nights it is good and value for money to stay well connected. Near the beach, Egmore railway station, MAS railway station, anna square.

I checked a lot of hotels in Chennai and a lot were fake photos or fake descriptions, like in most of big cities in India. This hotel is what you really expect in the good way. High standing, very nice staff and very clean. Amazing bed compared to other hotels. Location is also good.
