We stayed for 6 days. Food (Sukun restaurant), ambiance, rooms and service were top rate. We felt at home from the moment we stepped in. The pool area is quaint and calming and was never super crowded. We did visit during the rainy season. All the staff were super friendly and accommodating to our requests. Special mention to Radha and Eka for providing daily activities that we looked forward to and made our stay memorable. I mentioned Sukun earlier and it's probably one of the best restaurants in the area. The breakfasts were multi course with a lot of selection and tasty. We visited the spa for couples massage and highly recommend the Balinese massage.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. No matter the time and occasion. The room was clean at all time. They organised a pick up from the airport and despite the long waiting time awaited me and even helped me getting a SIM card. Also for the foreign travelers with cash on hand: Use the money exchange in the hotel. The rate is ok and they are trust worthy. I highly recommend this hotel! Would stay there again! Thank you very much!!

The grounds themselves were very well kept and tidy. I didn’t use the pool as I’d just got off my flight in to DPS but looked very inviting. The room itself was spotless and very well presented. The chap who picked me up from the airport was really friendly and welcoming. When it was time to go the next day I was served some fragrant, fresh coffee with fruit and banana pancakes. The driver took me to Ubud, and on the way stopped so I could see a nearby temple and was very friendly and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better start to my holiday!

Everything. From the room, the pool, the kids club, the beach, the location, the food, the overall setting. The ground is massive and incredibly beautiful. The complex is surrounded by big trees and several ponds, it gives you a calm and peaceful feeling, plus it’s beach front, so it’s breezy. We stayed with our 2 small kids and the staff was friendly and accommodating. There was a kids pool with a slide where my kids went up and down for god knows how many times. They also loved the kids club with Dino theme inside and Pirate theme outside. We even hanged in the kids club as we needed to accompany them. 🙃 I had to work during our stay, I was happy the wifi was stable. Only had a minor issue when it was raining. I can understand why some people say that the hotel is dated, but for us it was charming with a thick Balinese accent. Besides it was already renovated, so it has some modern touch to it. All was perfect. We loved it so much, we didn’t leave the hotel during our 4 days stay. :)

My wife, baby daughter Juna and I had such a pleasant time at Sanur house. The location, the spacious room, the beautiful garden, the positive vibe and the super friendly, kind and always interested staff. We enjoyed hanging out at the hotel during our stay and having small talk. No questions were ever too much for the staff either. Our daughter adored them. We cancelled our stay somewhere else and booked an additional stay at Sanur House. Straight 10 out of 10.
