For starters, this wasn't our first rodeo at Clementines. Over the past couple of years, I must've called - either with my son or partner - some 4/5 times. Rooms exquisite, staff and welcome exemplary, an ambience you won't find anywhere else in York. The decor is classic yet contemporary, amazing beds, wonderful bathrooms, AND - for the first time yet - we had breakfast. Oh my life, what've I been spending my life doing?? Superb spread, all seemingly local produce, and JUST the right amount of food to set you off on your day. Plus, it snowed over Saturday night, so we woke to a deep blanket of the white stuff. Lovely.

The best hotel I have ever stayed. The staff was attentive and kind, the room was clean, classy and very comfortable, the pantry was lovely and most of all - the breakfast was heavenly.

Wonderful accommodation- beautifully styled and presented, comfortable, welcoming hosts- what's not to like! We had a fantastic stay. Cot with bedding and a high chair was provided for us and the milk and biscuits on arrival were a lovely touch. Well equipped kitchen. Just great.
